Egypt and hydro-energy conflicts in the Mediterranean and the Nile River



LDI Director, Dalia Ziada, spoke at an international Live Briefing; organized by Republic Underground, on the role of energy in geopolitics and the economic warfare. Dalia's presentation focused on the position of Egypt in relation to the ongoing conflicts over hydro-energy in the Mediterranean and east Africa, along the Nile River. The discussion, also, discussed the crisis created by building and filling the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and the reconciliation between Turkey and Egypt.
